i’m thinking about switching our reference desk sign that says “ask me” with a sign that says, “we don’t have cookies, just books!” and see if anybody notices.

my library has a square sign hanging from the ceiling that says “Reference Services” with the international information symbol, i. I’d prefer Ask Us! or something along those lines, but the student union building (right next door) has the campus Ask Us! desk (yep, it’s named the ask us desk).
