oh, electronic resource management system silliness. we just bought the module from innovative to assist in the management of the library’s e-resources. we’re in the thick of dealing with the oddities of a new system. our current topic of consternation: the way an e-resource is entered into the system and subsequently found by patrons is different than the way any of our other library titles are entered and found. hurrah! we’ve found a new way to confuse ourselves! why wouldn’t an electronic resource be entered the same way any other library resource is entered? because they’re different.
